2024 8U Exhibition Tournament
2-game round-robin, followed by single-elimination playoff. Round-robin pools ranked by Win %. Tiebreakers, in order: Head-to-Head; Runs Against; Run Differential; Runs For
Gameplay rules are LLI Tournament Rules, except:
- Steals are allowed on passed balls only, and runners are allowed a maximum of one base
- Stealing home, even on a passed ball, is prohibited
- Baserunners are allowed one extra base on an overthrown ball (same as RLL National Division Rules B.1.k.9)
- A maximum of 5 runs scored by a team in an inning will end the respective half-inning in innings 1-4; innings 5-6 are unlimited
- Once the ball is returned to the pitcher, runners must commit to a base (return or advance)
- Distance of the Pitching Rubber will be what is customarily used at the field hosting the game (40' at RLL and WTLL; 42' at TLL and LLL)
- Game length will be 6 innings, except no new inning will start after 1 hour and 50 minutes; the inning in progress when the 1:50 time elapses will be completed as the final inning of the game
